Setting up your Tip Jar

Your Tip Jar is a page that puts your Venmo, Cash App, and PayPal in one place — one link, one QR code, so the person who loved your set doesn’t have to ask around for your handle while the feeling fades.

Getting it set up

Send us the handles you use — any or all of:

  • Venmo — your @username
  • Cash App — your $cashtag
  • PayPal — your paypal.me link or username

We add them to your account and your Tip Jar goes live, linked right from your artist page. Fans tap the one they use and land directly in the app with your name already filled in.

The QR code

Every Tip Jar comes with a QR code you can put anywhere — on the merch table, taped to the tip bucket, on the kick drum. Someone scans it, your Tip Jar opens, they tip.

Need your QR code? Text “QR code” to your I Got A Gig number and we’ll send it to you. Print it big.

A note on the money

Tips go straight from the fan’s app to yours. We never touch the money and we don’t take a cut — the Tip Jar is a signpost, not a middleman.

Still stuck? Email [email protected] — you'll get a person.
